The Santa Dash is always a festive spectacle with 1,000s of Santa’s running for fun around the streets of Liverpool City centre.
The dash, which is in its 13th year, has become a firm favourite in the run-up to the festive season and two members of Toxteth Lodge No 1356, John Sutton and Anthony Bundy, joined the run for the second year to raise funds for Zoë’s Place Baby Hospice Liverpool.
Supported by their families along the way, John and Anthony raised £245 for Zoë’s Place. John and Anthony, along with the lodge members, are all very much aware of the tremendous work that the hospice does for babies and wanted to support their endeavours.
At Zoë’s Place they care for babies from 0- 5 years of age, all of whom have life-threatening or life-limiting conditions that demands 24-hour care. If you want to find out more about Zoë’s Place and the three hospices that they run, go to their website at;- http://www.zoes-place.org.uk/
