The Woolton Group will be holding a very special Craft Joint Lodge Meeting at the Geoffrey Hirst Masonic Suite, Woolton Golf Club on Tuesday 21st October 2014 commencing at 6.00 pm. This will be the first Joint Lodge Meeting that the Woolton Group has hosted and in fact the first such meeting in the Province. It is hoped that it will be a very special evening for all those brethren who are able to attend. The Principal Guest on the evening will be our very own Assistant Provincial Grand Master W.Bro. Kevin Poynton PAGDC
The Joint Lodge Meeting will be hosted by Old Lerpoolian Lodge No.9270 and the Group Chairman has agreed with the members of that Lodge that their Worshipful Master will act as such on the evening. It is then the hope and wish of the Group Chairman that all the other positions on the ladder will be occupied by the Worshipful Masters from the other twelve Lodges in the Group.
The main part of the evening will be a delivery by W.Bro. Rob Mayne of the “Sacred Path” an enlightening and dramatic presentation of the moral and spiritual journey enshrined within the three degrees of Craft Masonry. The Sacred Path will only be shown a limited number of times within this Masonic Season and is an event not to be missed; includes special lighting, sounds and special effects. This demonstration is sure to will awaken feelings within all those who see it and deliver a daily advancement in Freemasonry.
This special Joint Lodge Meeting will be followed by a two course Festive Board consisting of a main course which will be a Chicken Breast wrapped in Ham with seasonal vegetables and potatoes, this will be followed by a Cheese Board, Coffee and Mints. The cost of the festive board will be a very reasonable £15. Dietary requirements can be catered for if notified in advance.
As it is anticipated that this will be a well-supported event with a maximum capacity for 90 Brethren, the booking of places will be on a strictly first come first served basis. Therefore should you wish to attend this special event please liaise with your lodge Secretary.
